The challenge

Illes Seasonings & Flavors relied on spreadsheets and manual processes to manage new product development across sales, purchasing, technical services and other departments. Poor visibility and communication made deadlines difficult to manage, increased the risk of errors and sometimes contributed to lost orders and revenue.

The solution

Intellera worked with Illes to redesign and automate these processes using WorkflowGen, integrating the solution with the company’s existing CRM and Ross ERP systems. Sales representatives could initiate requests directly from the CRM, while product information flowed between systems without unnecessary manual intervention.

The impact

Weeks became hours. Automated workflows gave more than 50 users greater visibility and accountability, improved communication across departments, reduced errors and provided actionable data for managing operations.
